Sheffield Computer Services is run by Nathaniel Moody and has been running since April 2012, starting out in a small town in Lincolnshire. Considering the business a success by achieving over 1000 computer repair, tuition and website jobs over a three year period (which would have been more without a year working on a website for a publishing company), the business was moved Sheffield.
So you’re reading about a small business that is not aiming to be the next PC World or we-fix-all shop because this is simply not possible to do while providing a good personalised service.
Intending to run the company with the simple ethos of honesty, reliability and flexibility, we help residents and small business in Sheffield with any type of computer related problem.
There are three side to the business:
- Computer repair – PCs, Macs, laptops
- Tutoring and training – for computers and tablets
- Website design – for individuals to SMEs
Most of the work is undertaken by Nathaniel, except for really busy periods were some work is outsourced to a trustworthy partner. Each service compliments each the other well with skills learned through computer repair and helping to ensure tutoring is current – explaining to customers what went wrong and more importantly how problems can be avoided in the future. Designing websites is creatively rewarding and is the perfect activity for moments of quietness on the repair or tutoring side of things. The buzz people get from being helped to understand something they struggle and another reason IT tution really makes sense.

Payment Info:
Prices will be agreed before work is started and payment is taken after the work is successfully completed. Receipts are given which should be retained by the customer in case of future problems – please keep your receipt as without your receipt we cannot help with things like replacing replacement parts under guarantee. Payment forms accepted are:
- Cash
- Bank transfer
- Cheque
Cash or bank transfer is the preferred method of payment – we can minimise on banking charges that way. We used to be able to accept card payments with a charge of +2.5% to cover transaction costs but due to the a new EU law 2018 we cannot charge this now, so regrettably can’t offer this form of payment anymore… We are a small business and the majority of payments are small amounts so this cost was purely to cover costs and we make no profit – unfortunately we just can’t absorb the costs into our prices which are low enough already.
By using our website and services you agree to our terms and conditions. Thank you.
Thank you.
