We can remote connect to you via Google Chrome, which works great assuming your internet connection is up to it.
We recommend you to set up this remote connection ability before we call you and save yourself to save time with us, so please follow this page. Read the all of this page first and links and then act on instructions. Please note the links to pages outside of our website are beyond our control and may change since this is published, and you should take the usual general internet caution while browsing.
Aim of this guide is to get you to be able to click on ‘generate code’ (and generate a code to share to us) in the “Get Support” section on this page: https://remotedesktop.google.com/support
Download and install Google Chrome from: https://www.google.com/chrome/ – you may well use this already or have it installed if you can see this icon logo on the computer somewhere so you might not have to do this.
Open Google Chrome
Follow the ‘share your computer with someone else’ section of the guide by google at the link below: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/1649523?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en
If you get asked for Google Account login information along the way of these instructions you may already have a google account so use those login details (you will do if you have a gmail email address or Android phone – use these details). If you don’t you can use our account so please use ‘n.remote.help’ as the username and text 07552380585 for the password (we change it often) and you’ll be able to progress.
When you are all set up, you will be able to click on ‘generate code’ in the “Get Support” box of the remote help page, and this is the code you need to tell us.
Thanks.
